Clearlake Lava started in 1960’s as Konocti Rock by the Van Pelt Family primarily as decorative
rock supplier to the landscape produces a variety of products out of three quarries in Lake
County, California located between Santa Rosa and Sacramento. Lightweight aggregate
locations are in Clearlake Oaks and Lower Lake (Point Lake View Quarry), as well as a quarry on
Cache Creek (Hidden Valley Sand and Gravel) that produces aggregate for the concrete market.
With the opening of Point Lakeview Rock in 1988, the company started a successful ready mix
concrete operation at the quarry location that has expanded over the years and serves all of Lake
County and parts of Napa County.
